Mission stepper

Move a mission through its states from your phone — en route, arrived, on board, drop-off, completed.

Follow your mission one step at a time. Each tap advances the mission to the next state and notifies the operator in real time.

Your missions for today

The home screen shows today's confirmed missions in chronological order.

Tap a mission to open its detail screen and access the stepper.

Mission detail

The mission detail screen shows:

  • Pickup address (tap to open in maps)
  • Drop-off address
  • Scheduled start time and estimated duration
  • Client name and contact (if shared by the operator)
  • Current mission state

Step 1 — En route to pickup

Tap Start — En route when you leave for the pickup point.

The mission status updates to En route. The operator sees this change instantly on the dispatch board.

Works offline. Today's missions are cached on your phone — the stepper stays available with no signal. Your state updates sync automatically the moment you reconnect.

Step 2 — Arrived at pickup

Tap Arrived when you reach the pickup location.

The status updates to Arrived. The operator is notified and can see your position on the map.

Step 3 — Passenger on board

Tap Passenger on board once your client is in the vehicle and the trip begins.

The status updates to In progress.

Geolocation sharing starts here. While the mission is in progress, your phone shares your position with the operator. This is automatic and stops as soon as the mission is completed. Location is never shared between missions.

Step 4 — Drop-off

Tap Drop-off when you reach the destination and the client exits the vehicle.

The status updates to Drop-off reached.

Step 5 — Completed

Tap Complete mission to close the mission.

The mission is marked Completed. Geolocation sharing stops. The trip record is sent to the operator for invoicing.

Offline behaviour

The driver app caches your missions for today before you go offline:

  • The mission list and all mission details remain readable with no signal.
  • The stepper buttons remain tappable — your state updates are queued locally.
  • When your connection returns, all queued updates sync automatically in order.

You will see a small offline indicator at the top of the screen when there is no connection. This does not prevent you from advancing the stepper.

In a tunnel or rural area? Advance the stepper normally. Your updates will reach the operator as soon as signal returns — usually within seconds of driving back into coverage.
