Messaging your driver

How to send a message to your driver from the tracking page, and what is shared.

You can send a short message to your driver directly from the tracking page. This is useful if you need to give a more precise meeting point or let them know you are running a few minutes late.

How to send a message

On the tracking page, look for the message icon or the Contact driver button. Type your message and send — your driver will receive it in their app.

You do not need a phone number. Messages are sent through the booking system.

What your driver sees

Your driver receives your message as a short notification in their app. They see your first name and the message text.

They do not see:

  • Your phone number.
  • Your email address.
  • Any payment or billing details.

You also do not see your driver's personal contact details. Messaging works both ways through the booking system — keeping both sides private.

What messaging is for

The driver messaging feature is designed for short, practical messages:

  • "I am at gate B2, not the main exit."
  • "Running 5 minutes late, sorry."
  • "Please call when you arrive."

For any change to the booking itself (date, time, address, cancellation), contact your transport operator using the details in your booking confirmation.

If you do not see the messaging option

The messaging feature may not be available for all bookings. If you cannot see it and need to reach your driver urgently, use the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.
