Following your driver and ETA
How to read the live map and understand your estimated arrival time.
Your tracking page shows your trip details as soon as you open it. The live map and estimated arrival time appear automatically once your driver is on the way to you.
What you see before the trip starts
Until your driver is en route, the page shows:
- Your pick-up and drop-off addresses.
- Your scheduled departure time.
- The vehicle type and colour.
The map is not yet active at this stage — this is expected.
When the live map appears
The driver's position on the map becomes visible only once the trip is in progress. This happens automatically — you do not need to refresh the page.
The page receives live updates in the background, so the position and ETA stay current without any action on your part.
If you open the link early and the map is not showing, wait a few minutes. The driver position will appear as soon as they set off.
Understanding the ETA
The estimated arrival time is calculated from the driver's current position and traffic conditions. It updates continuously as the trip progresses.
Small variations of a few minutes are normal, especially in heavy traffic. If there is a significant delay, your driver can send you a message directly from their app.
When the tracking page closes
The tracking session ends when the trip is complete. After that, the link is no longer active and the page will show a confirmation that your trip has finished.
